Subject: Wishlist Email Notifications

E-Arkham ( ) posted Wed, 05 May 2010 at 2:14 PM · edited Fri, 22 November 2024 at 11:49 PM

I have "receive email notifications/subscriptions" turned off, yet I still receive constant emails about wishlist items changing prices.  Sometimes, duplicates about the same item are sent.

How do I turn the wishlist notifications off?

Thanks,
Kep

That is for the newsletter and promos. If you have something that you put into your wishlist then you will receive notifications if the item is put on sale. That is a feature of the wishlist and if you want to not receive notifications then you will need to remove item(s)  from your wishlist.

Thank you

Hm.  So if I remove it from the wishlist, then it'll be much harder to find when I'm ready to buy... but if I leave it on the wishlist, then I'm regularly nagged about it being on the wishlist.  That's not a particularly customer friendly way of doing things in my opinion.  I guess Renderosity is not open to changing that?

I'll just set those emails to be filed as spam then.  That'll be easier than moving everything on the wishlist to bookmarks.

Thanks,
Kep

That is a built in feature for the wishlist that was done based on customer request/suggestion so we will not be changing that at this time.
