Guys, apparently the newest Win7-64bit drivers are working great on some of the lower cards and older ones [4000 series]...but the 5000 are not so great.  I have tried suggestions on the install and that new ATI driver is still crashing my system.  Once installed, my system goes into the reboot to finish installation and it hangs forever.  Never to boot again.  Only way to fix the system is to boot in safe mode and reset the system back to the previous state, thereby removing the new driver and reverting to the original driver that came with the card.  My is an Visiontek Radeon ATI 5750, GDDR5, 1gb card.  It's relatively new...the driver and card was manufactured in November I believe, and despite what AMD is providing as an update, the new driver they have is not working on my card or system.  So for now I have no way of fixing this OpenGL issue.  Nemirc is also apparently having similar problems.  I'm guessing the upgrade of the drivers was intended primarily to fix problems with 4000 series cards.  It's making the 5000+ series worse though...or not at all.  No one else seems to have had any suggestions on this matter as of yet, so if anyone reads this post...and you have a 5000+ series card, you may not want to install that new AMD driver...or if you do, at least make sure your Win7 system is backed up so that you can easily revert back if you need to.   For the time being, I'd suggest sticking with Sree3D for preview mode in Poser.  I've noticed no other problems with my card except for the one issue with Poser.  I am guessing, as usual, the problem might be related to something with Poser and how it relates or utilizes the card.  I really don't know and most if goes over my head.  I do know the card works fine with all other applications including zbrush and bryce.  If I run across anything else, I'll add to this post.  If anyone else runs across something new, please let us all know.
