If you are using the poser primitives, they are already mapped. You can get the map from UVMapper as hborre says. The problem will be that as you scale the obj the uv map will stay the same, so a texture will distort.
You might do best to export and reimport the mesh and create a new map for the obj. Try just getting the current map first and see how you go with that.
