Mike also, sometimes the Autoexec.bat gets messed up, you may just need to create a fake one so that you operating system will recognize that it is wrong and it will automatically fix the old one. Don't panic, I am sure this is an easy fix, unless something really weird happened lastnight when you shut down. Compac really should be able to help get you back up. Did anything weird happen?
