On limits: Yes, the local value is mixed with the ERC value and then clipped. The
final number on any joint will never go beyond its own Max and Min. (Assuming the limits
are turned on, either by the menu command or by "forceLimits 1" in the CR2.)
On Vicky and friends: the ERC is indeed hard to follow and tricky to save. Part
of the action happens outside the main CR2. I don't know much about Vicky...
