I don't think it's any sort of chargeable accident. The car failed on its own, so it's a mechanical failure, and to top it off, a catastrophic one. Simply put, without help from the insurance company, there's no way I could even afford to get a cheap used car, right now. I've been trying to get myself out of debt for the last six months, so every spare penny has gone into paying on my credit cards.

Just got off the phone with the insurance company. They'll pay up to 600$ for a rental, total, 25$ a day. This day started WAY too early, since I barely slept, but at least stuff is moving finally.
