Once I figured it out it hasn't been a problem for me. I just routinely drag modal windows to such a location that the main Poser window never hides them completely. A bit clumsy, yes, but works for me since I got a 24" monitor and I don't need to run Poser main window containing it full screen. Besides the Firefox needs to be open anyway so quickly dragging the modal windows on top of Firefox to process whatever it is that needs attention, is a minor nuisance really.
