I heard horror stories a few months ago & then everything went quiet with regards to running it in Linux, the last time I tried it with Wine it was a 0.9 release last year that refused to even look at Poser.

For the record I haven't had any of the windows vanish behind Poser so far. I have Poser 8 SR3 installed.
