I keep Poser 5 loaded because some older Python scripts only work in that version, and because it will export multiple props as one .obj without adding numeric suffixes to all of the groups and materials. Other than that, I never use it.
There are potential uses for older versions, but whether they're worth keeping probably depends on what you do with Poser.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below. His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
