This is too weird. I'd come across references to Frazetta occasionally like everyone else. I hadn't thought of his stuff in many years. A couple of weeks ago I found the book "Legacy/Selected Paintings & Drawings by Frank Frazetta" at my library, possibly just days afterward.
The book outlines his many other lesser known works as well. Like, I have the LP of the Peter Sellers movie "After the Fox", and there's a cartoon on it of the various characters in the film...done by guess who! Here I was looking at this thing off and on for years, and didn't even realize.
Though I'm not into fantasy art much, it's true, a lot can be learned from studying his stuff, particularly dramatic lighting and posing.
