No, it was not removed from the face of the earth, just from the public forum.  We don't delete threads, we just remove them from the forum.

If ANYONE has a complaint about a post, poster, or anything else that goes on, bring it to a staff member.  DO NOT RETALIATE.  I will not have it in this forum, and members are to conduct themselves in a constructive and respectful manner at all times.  This goes for everyone.  If you feel someone is conducting themselves otherwise, bring it to a staff member, we will deal with it.  There are currently links at the top of the forum to FIVE staff members.  There is no excuse not to contact at least one of us when you have a problem.
