There is a way but it's damn tricky. It firstly depends on your scale, which all boils down to who you believe has the correct one in the first place.
If it's any help at all, when I build models in Wings, I use each ground square on the grid to represent one inch. To then import into Poser at the correct scale, I reduce to 1.115% of the original size. In the case of the NSD (that's a Dalek model, btw), that gives me a size of approximately 5' 6", which seems to work out right with the relative sizes of A3, SP3, V3, V4 etc.
I realize the above isn't exact in itself but if you have an idea of the native unit size in Wings, then reduce by the amount I mentioned, it should get you into the ballpark. Good luck with measuring bust size on one of the female models, though; it's incredibly difficult to get right in real life, never mind in virtuality. And there's no "hands on" in there, either. ;)
