Doesn't apply here anyway, since the verb is not infinitive but past imperfect.
The phrase "to boldly go" is a split infinitive, but not "they boldly go...", which is an acceptable form.
There are a number of typos, but I don't know if it's important to you to correct them. If so, I'm a nitpicking-good proof-reader!
I love the new format, but agree that the text could be made a little easier to read.
