I think there are two issues: the first is that in general all animation sequences of landscapes are no longer than 4 seconds, unless you make a bird view or something like that, and in that case you don't need detailed vegetation as well (i.e. Xfrog), or stereo 3d panoramas and then you need a lot of hardware and guys; the second question is what do you need a landscape view for: if you use it as a backdrop, then you do not care much about it because it focuses attention on other subjects, but if you need to create realistic 3D virtual worlds for several devices then you must find the best compromise between realism and speed / weight and that's what I'm aiming to do, being conscious that Carrara is great for that. Regarding Vue, I'm an old user and believe me I know what it means "wait" and hope there be no flickering; anyway before betting I wanna make sure that your internet dollar is real with my teeth. ciao
