I think remapped figures are the way to go. My experience with DPHoadley's remapped figures has convinced me of that. If you remap the object, you only need to do that once, and after that any of the"target" textures will work. If you adjust the texture, you have to do that for every texture set you want to use. Thus remapping will be much more efficient.
I have lots of V4 and M4 textures and I would buy, without a moment's hesitation, remapped figures for Posette, Dork, Victoria 3 Reduced Resolution, Mike 3 Reduced resolution and any G2 figures to use these. They would be extremely valuable to me. DPHoadley's remaps mostly, or perhaps exclusively, target V3 and M3 textures. I think that remaps to generation 4 textures would be welcome for a lot of people who have bought the textures but sometimes need a more efficient model.
