IMHO, when you want a latino skincolor, and not a tanned one, you'll have to reduce the red color, so it will be more greenish,  I had good results with a 220,255,245 settings and a reduce of the diffuse value of 0.6

Oops, sorry, I forgot to tell that I'm using the DAZ-vanessa skin a lot, which is rather tanned by itself
