Subject: converting old photos to copy in CD

I shall be very much be glad if anyone from our forum can guide me to covert our family old photos(where i do not have negatives) to CD?

Just scan the prints at the best quality your scanner can manage. if you don't own a scanner, many stores have them for you ro scan your film prints.

Yes, scanning is the ticket but be aware dust may show on some as little white spots.  The scans and CD from the drugstore kiosk like Walgreens (in the USA) do a pretty good job.  You have to ignore all the extra stuff they put on the CD to encourage you to sign up for their on-line  photo services and go straight to the photo files listings on  the disc to get the photos the easiest.

If any options are provided for file sizes, get the largest and best quality they provide.  Best wishes!
