Well, facebook can't do anything to invade your privacy unless you actively join and post things that you don't want public. So, the fact that our devteam has made it easier to share links throughout the site with your facebook "friends" won't invade your privacy at all. They simply don't have access to anything that you don't place on their site yourself. :)
As for google, we've had google ads on the site for years, via AdSense.
If there are changes you'd like to see on the site, please post them on the Suggestion Box forum, so that those in charge of changes can read your input :)
