 Nancy, I get it.  What you guys aren't getting is that the connection that everyone is fearing is the link at the bottom of the page.   It doesn't do anything.  It loads.  It is not connecting to your computer.  It is running a script on the site that makes it easy for integration with facebook.

And, before the litany of complaints, YES, this was a user-requested feature.  It was requested by many, and I see it used on a daily basis.
