Go ahead and uncross them - that was not the fix.

Poser Pro is fine right now - it may be for a month or a week or another 20 mintues -  But Poser8 has been freezing up for weeks - I tried the new shortcut on it - and it still froze.

Oh well - lucky me

Oh and just an FYI:  I've sent Smith Micro my before and after Preference Settings also, they could not find a problem.

Read the post directly above. I'm still betting a system32 folder still exists on your 64 bit OS, since 32 bit software is still capable of running in it. You may want to try the shortcut fix exactly as BB suggested it. If you do have a system32 folder, all your Poser 8 info will be in there. Not your Pro 2010 of course ;o).
