Glad to hear the good news Sackrat. Many doctors today are reluctant and some have even stopped giving the statistical odds because people are different and often don’t correlate to the laboratory scheme of things. What’s more, some people unfortunately live out the supposed remainder of their lives in a state of depression and despair and feeling unproductive after receiving the dire odds. But fact of the matter is that while we put our lives on a holding pattern as a result, we may still succumb to some other serendipitous and swift illness or tragic accident in the interim. I’ve known people having been ill and given such prognostic odds that are still alive and well many years later and some have actually outlived their younger prognosticating doctors. Such should be your fate my friend. Welcome back!
