Oh, I agree that thank yous are the way to go ;o). Was never arguing that fact. But I was saying that it might be a problem if you require them in order to download your freebies. In essence then, they aren't really "free" then, are they? ;o). Maybe you could set up your own website - there are a lot of free hosting venues out there - and set up your freebies as "ThankYouWare"? I'm not even being facetious, I'm totally serious. Some places, the cost of using/downloading is a cookie...lol...why not thank yous?
