jestmart: Of course it makes a difference if someone has a 3GHZ duo core and 4 GB RAM, the graphic card is also good. There is absolutely no need to waste money on a new computer.

Nyghtfall: I have a 2,1 GHZ core duo with 6 GB RAM and it makes a BIG difference when I changed from 32 bit to 64 bit two years ago. I still work on XP Prof 64 bit, I used Win 7 for 2 months but I don't like it .

With Poser on 64 bit you are able to load bigger scenes and the rendering is faster. But when you use Win 7 you really need more than 4 GB RAM, I think 8 GB should give you a capable workflow.
