The superconforming can be a pest, I made some a while ago and I swear it turned another inch of my beard grey.

The thing seemed to break and fix itself in a totally random way.

What I did find in the end, with a bit of help, was that superconforming only works if the figure you are conforming to already has the morphs loaded before you add the sc garment to the scene.

Not sure if that is your issue, but I hope it helps.
