Long sight is called hypermetropia. I'm not an optician's son for nothing. :-)
The other word you may need later on is presbyopia, or "old sight" - where your eyes lose their power to focus at varying distances. Then it's bifocal time!
It's very rare for a human eye not to have some degree of astigmatism, by the way. It may be at a low enough level to not be worth correcting, though.
