There are several things you can do to assist is diagnosing the problem :-

  1. Check the integrety of the ZIP file.
    Many unzipping tools have a "Test" option which will check that all the files have the correct CRCs.
  2. If 1) confirms that the file is OK or if your unzipper doesn't have a check option, try unzipping to a another directory (one with a simple short path like C:Temp).

These should confirm that you have a valid archive and that your unzipper can cope with the contents.
If step 1) fails, redownload after clearing your cache and repeat.
If step 2) fails, try using another unzipper, e.g. 7-Zip
If both steps succeed the it's most likely that the problem is caused by the path you were originally trying to unzip to.
Assuming you having had trouble using that location before, a possible explanation would be that the troublesome entries are generating too long a filename.
Neither of the ReadMes indicate the use of any awkward characters.
