A Flex UI is nicer than a wx UI and a lot easier to build. And it runs on every platform.

After my experiences with the Poser 8 library, I think you will understand that I'm a bit cautious about that idea. Also, wouldn't that effectively mean that you'd be the only person able to work on the UI?
