I'm sure Bagginsbill will keep us posted, perhaps in another thread, once he's made more progress.
Not to revive a sore subject but I did a google on GC... the digital camera sensors record the signal linearly (by all accounts) but all but the fewest specialised cameras do GC to images to convert to the sRGB specification.
Be curious where that other "info" came from. I guess misinformation also evolves, or so I've read, somewhere. :biggrin:
