ivan st, On the roadster model,I used Rhino to model 99% of the car body. The way I did the doors was a bit tricky, I made a block shape of the doors then offset the shape a little to the inside and did what's called a split in Rhino, then deleted the split area that make up the thin line of the doors, hood, trunk etc.... I understand your frustration with trying to do it with a boolean. I had very little success with it myself. I'm cure there is a way to do it with a vertex model though, does Dream have a vertex modeler? Otherwise if you don't want to spend any money on a program like rhino, there are some free ones that might do what you need. Chexk out this link to Open FX and see if it's something you might be interested in, I've heard great things about it. Maybe litst(the carrara forum moderator)has an answer on this subject. I'm sure theres a clean way for you to do it, but I really don't know what it is. You could alway get the rhino demo, it lets you save 25 times before expiring, and it's an incredible modelling program, and I'm getting heavily addicted to it the more I use it. And the Rhino forum in here has great help and support. Good luck in this quest. If I come up with anything I'll let you know. kaom
