Quote - In case you haven't seen it, there is going to be a new plugin for DazStudio to port DS scenes and materials over to LuxRender (a fantastic rendering engine). Trouble is, I don't use DS (hate it), I use Poser ;o). Now, in visiting LuxRender's website, there are already exporters from various programs to get your scenes into LuxRender. Poser is not among them and Blender is the only free modeling program that has an exporter on the list - the rest are Maya, Max, C4D, etc. (which I don't own). Here's what I'm asking: being that the Blender to Lux exporter is written in Python, if for Blender than why not for Poser? Has anyone attempted this? Anyone interested? That would just be the monkey's ass if we could render Poser scenes in Lux ;o).
Any takers? I suppose you could always examine the LuxBlend exporter for Blender to see the Python script already done there. If I were a programmer, I'd do it myself, but I have about a snowball's chance in hell of ever doing that...lol. Therefore, I'm begging on my hands and knees...
