I forgot to mention, theres afree download of Amapi 4. It's the full free version of the program. I'm pretty sure it's still up for download. And if you get, be sure and download the Amapi 4.15 patch to make it more stable. It's a great little program, and very capable of high quality NURBS modeling. And as far as learning Rhino, it's pretty easy, especially with the great tutorials found here at renderosity, there are tutorials for just about everything in it and they are how I learned it, check them out.
