**Somehow, we need to tell Lux to replace a Poser infinite with it's own sun and point and spotlights with it's own. Otherwise it won't be of much benefit IMHO.

the problem in your first render was not the sun. you didnt hae a sky to light your ambient lighting.

in your second render your sky is lighting the scene with the sun.
