Brian, originally that had been misrepresented in the Rules. itw as an oversight on my part, but the exact, explicit rule for that, as it is, is this: 4) All works must be your original works, and must have never been posted anywhere on the internet, prior to the contest, or during the contest. This includes any of the galleries in Renderosity.com. Contest entries will be allowed to be posted elsewhere after the final judging has been done and the winners have been selected. .......... It is now on the contest rules page too, and actually, the contest only was on for a couple of days before it got noticed and fixed. I am sending that message to everyone who enters, immediately after they have entered.
