Some other differences in my exporter:
- Each exporter produces a "section" of the lux scene file. Mine can put these in separate files or all in one file, or any combination.
- If a section is in its own file, my exporter can update just that file. This means you can make changes in the GUI and re-export just the materials or just the lights or just the render settings, and skip the time-consuming export of the geometry.
- My exporter will shortly (and transparently) support presets, where the data for a particular exporter comes from a pre-defined file instead of from the dataOut.bbml. Individual exporters don't need to know about this.
- My exporter can display the contents of a section on the console or pop it up in a text editor, as it is being created.
- My exporter will let you save the scene file where your Poser scene file is instead of burying it in the "toLux" folder.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
