Ahhh, thank you!  That cleared up a bit of confusion.  My brother is the one who got all this set up for me - he rattles off terms and information so quickly, I barely catch half of it - let alone understand what I hear LOL.

He did mention another method for having both OS's on the same machine (the one you described), but is reluctant to do so - I have no idea what his reasons are, and he may yet turn around, tell me to prepare for my info vanishing again, and set it up that way LOL.

And yes, the issue with poser & daz content over on the mac side IS the fact that the installers are so old that it cannot read the code.  Mac OSX.  This machine has 8GB memory, and i think 5 are allocated to Mac, and 3 to Windows.  I believe the hard drive is 60GB... 30 to each side, and i have 7GB left on windows side, slightly more on Mac (i havent installed my poser toys, or vue & all its fun toys yet on mac side)

For now, seeings as my family has turned to the Mac Side, and i have to borrow a computer to "play"... i am stuck with the VM thing (unless bro decides a true dual-boot would suit better), and running on both sides of the fence.... I look forward to the challenge of keeping my images fresh with having limited HD space for runtime & extra content folders.  For now, the Kids 4 have taken over Runtime-Land... V4 decided there just wasn't enough closet space for her and fled.  In Vue... I've installed my "absolutely necessary" packs & extras.

Poser has settled down... and yes, after some time, it will slow down to a crawl.  A quick save and reboot of windows seems to help it.  I have discovered that having pretty much anything running on Mac side while I play in windows side with Poser & Vue (photoshop seems immune to this) - it will cause those two programs to crawl and eventually crash.... so, i make sure now I've got nothing going on Mac side.

All told, though - the setup is functioning much better than I could have imagined.... I just need a bigger hard drive in this sucker now...
