@josterD: It will be worth the wait! I installed it yesterday and the results — even at the default settings — are stunning! Well worth the investment, IMO!

I'm redoing the render to turn off some of the glossy items, but even the poser-specific items look good when imported into the renderer.
I think it's definitely worth the money. I've been playing around with it since yesterday and I love the results I've been getting so far. I don't have to juggle multiple lights around trying to achieve the same results.
And the image I posted above, I set that up in about 15 minutes. Then I was able to adjust the lights because it was a bit bright without stopping the rendering. I also like the fact that it gives even the Poser-specific scenes and props (that don't have DS-specific MATs) a totally new look as well. And having easy access to another renderer that gives great results is never a bad thing.
So I wouldn't take the advice of someone who actually hasn't tried it. ;)
EDIT: I also showed the above render to JSGraphics and he ended up buying the tool himself even though he's a Poser user. He loved the way his textures came out and wants to use it for his renders too.
josterD, do you have the artists' permission to post these here? If not, I'm going to go ahead and remove them. Please just link to the thread instead.
