In Belgium they call it a water rabbit. (waterkonijn) but that's even less gros then "roof hare" (dakhaas) which is a dutch nickname for a cat, a relic from ww2.
My own roof hare caught a water rabbit some weeks ago, I'm glad he did because they are a pest around our house, perhaps I should catch them and sell them.
