That would nice if it worked as it was intended.  However, no one here has the power to move threads, or otherwise force compliance.  Laurie is doing the best that can be done to nudge people that way.  Since this is not a sponsored project, we don't get special priviledges; at least not much.  Getting the first post stickied is about all we can expect.
