There's been a couple of threads recently about moving Poser files and content.  One thing I might suggest is start a database.  I have one dating back to the old Zygote days ... That way you can track an archive and log where it's saved and IF that package is installed into your Poser Runtime.  I track what character the item is made for, the author of the item, where the Geometry and textures are stored within the Runtime.

It may seem like a lot of work, but once you get the thing going and work to keep it up, it becomes a great resource.  You might also think about making a backup of your entire Runtime.  This can be as simple as copying your Runtime(s) to an external disc -or- copying items according to catagory.

Looks like you have been a member here for ten years?  My first suggestion might be a little late in coming ... On the other hand I have less than 2000 records (1967) in my own database and only 18 CD-ROMs (or DVD volumes) in my storeroom of goodies.

Best Wishes,
