Ok, this obviously hasn't been rendering for very long...

I set this scene up to test materials, but I posted it because of the smoothness of the spheres. Seems people are having trouble with the Poser primitives, so I made the sphere in Wings 3D. I triangulated it before importing to Poser in AccuTrans (I like the way it triangulates better than Wings, which tends to make poles by making a lot of edges extend away from a single vertex).

The inset image is what the triangulated sphere looks like in Wings.

I'm not sure why the Poser primitives looks so awful and I'm not sure why my sphere looks better, but I thought I better post it for the programmers - maybe you gents know ;o).
