How about Carrara 7 Pro in the September  3DWorld Magazine Issue 133?    It's learning curve isn't that bad and you can put all your textures on the house etc in that program and export it into Poser as an .obj.  It can do automobiles, homes, walls, doors, light fixtures, cabinets, stereos, turntables, etc.
