I did use an HDRI from Poser adp...sorry, I forgot to mention that.... I used the Pond scene. While the .lxl file was linking to it, it didn't render in Luxrender. All I got was a blueish sky. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...hehe.

Please look into the *.lxs file for "premultiplyalpha". Set this to "false" if it isn't. 

Make sure there is no other light like sun or sky in your *.lxl file.
