Quote - If you market a clothing item using body morphs derived from some script your going to get a lot of shall we say criticalfeedback
Now if you use Morphing clothes, Crossdresser, or Wardrobe wizard to rough out your body morph then you have something to work with most of these utilities distort a lot of edge detail.
Err, scripting is a set of instructions to the program to automate a task...a program is a set of instructions to the computer to automate a task...if a script in Maya is created to accomplish the same objective as the programs you noted the results would be......a quick starting point for the creation of morphs.
@ OP
First your clothing items have to be rigged for Poser use and adjusted to deform properly, at that point you can begin to add morphs.
You can achieve reasonably adequate results with automated methods. However the automated methods do have shortcomings and the best quality will be derived from creating each morph manually.
It is a tedious process but if you want to your products stand out from the average items in the marketplace it's probably the way you'll need to approach the subject.
