Ah! Thanks for the replies!
It is Bryce 7 Pro. I am not talking about lighting, but lightNing - as in lightning bolts...
Thanks for the tips!

I sent you my lightning lab about a year ago.....
Yes! I recall... Helped immensely, too! I thought that Bryce had put together something to do it, though...

Oooh, I like the look of that, any chance I could have a play with your lightning mesh/s?
I've sent you a site mail (IM) with my email address in it. (hopefully)

Thanks very much, I just downloaded it, look forward to playing with it after a meeting I have tonight.
If you do update it, I for one would like to be notified, (so I can test out that one too!)
Do you think it needs adjusting for B7 then?

I experimented making lightning within Bryce a couple times. Once tried importing a hand drawn stroke and converting it to a lattice then turn up its ambience all the way. I also got a so-so result with context free images converted to lattices. The results are in my gallery somewhere. I'll look them up if you are interested in the results.
shouldnt really need an update. material is a bright glowy type...just place some radial lights, 3 or so, down the middle of the mesh. I used them in Bryce 3 and 5 an loaded them up in 7 without problems. 3 are mesh 3 are pic objects ( the pic objects in my opinion, suck nowadays) so maybe ill redo those.

Can anyone point me to a tut on the Bryce Lightning Lab? I did some basic searches and came up with nothing...
Thanks in advance!
