Those were the two processors I had in mind, BB, but the price of the 1090T won me over. Haven't been disappointed yet, I must say! Granted, anything was an improvement over my 2ghz Celeron with 2gb of RAM.. :D  Now, renders with volumetric lighting take at most about 20-30 minutes, instead of 20 hours like the one I did on the old computer. :>
