there is almost no possibility that intelligent organisms capable of space flight don't exist
on other planets. however, as multi-cellular carbon-based life-forms cannot survive
interstellar travel, no such extra-terrestrial species have ever visited this planet,
nor are they capable of directing communication beams at earth (as shown by SETI).
the same goes for humans trying to communicate with other planets: they can't produce
nor operate the terawatt directed-beam communication device they would need.
thus, the question of how extra-terrestrial species are affected by human superstitions is
moot, as they cannot be affected by them.
