This is not subtle texture but is the weaving of a Native American basket, woven by a lady named Francis Cucumber of honey suckle vine.  Native organic dyes are used.  She is part of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation.  These people are descendants of the Cherokee Indian people who avoided being shipped by foot to Oklahoma in the "Trail of Tears" in the government attempt to move the Cherokee Nation to a location more suitable for while settlers...get them away.  Those were different times and many events happened for which no one is truly proud.

The only Native American goods I will purchase must be certainly made by those people, not imported fakes.  Much of the old skills have been passed on to the next generations and some will use those crafts is specially fine traditional and creative new artistic directions.

So...despite my excess of words, here is a texture.
