As for your work..don't give up on it all even though it happened to you. Start back doing stuff..don't give up on it..
imagine if it was a flood or some act of god.. you won't be able to blame god.. you'd have to laugh at his sense of humour.. and you'd not give up..restart again. Beethoven didn't give up when he turned deaf..he kept on going..and wrote some of his greatest pieces deaf. So you can too..never mind if you lost things.. your greatest music and art can be written no matter how bad life is..
