Hmm. Not sure what is happening. Once it is sending the scene I have usually no issues. Sometime Hypervue doesn't see the cows and I have to add them by entering the IP adress, but otherwise it works nicely. However, I never used network render prior to Vue 8 and you are using Vue 6 if I recall correctly?

How large is the scene? Does the "sending" finish? It can take 10 to 15 minutes for very large scenes to transfer to the cow depending on your network speed.

Also make sure, that there isn't a firewall in the way. The cow and hypervue might need to be added to the allowed lists depending on your setup.

How much memory does the extra PC have? Use the task manager to look at the memory use of the cow. That way you can see if it actuially tries to load the scene (the memory footprint should increase) and if it runs into a low memory situation.
