Make one. I use a point light but you could use a spot or infinite parented to the camera.
Go into the light shader (the material room for the light). Set the Diffuse_Color and Specular_Color to black. Make sure it doesn't cast shadows.
Now you have a light that only shines in preview - not in render. There is no need to ever turn it off.
Mine is part of my preferred scene, and so every time I start Poser it is there.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
